backStory: images from a group fashion show w/The Magic Johnson Foundation 

hosted in the tents during NY Fashion Week.

ZENBreeze...S/S 1999 SKM + SKM for Hush Puppies part II

the ZEN Breeze Collection was inspire by Asian culture (after a walk thru New York's Chinatown one day for lunch) & the breezy tropical atmosphere of my hometown. Miami (pre-South Beach).
the collection fabrics: varies types of Linen (which I love) , paper thin Leather, Hemp, washed white Cotton, Cotton knit & Tropical Wool.
i accessorized the look w/ thick Sterling Silver "subway rings" & Sterling charms on thin leather or suede cord, designed by Ex Ovo...linen scarves, rayon kerchiefs & cotton knit caps rounded out the looks.
this collection also introduced the"SKM shoe collection for Hush Puppies".
(yes i designed all the shoes in the photos) inspired by my, longtime college (Pratt Institue) BF...Miss Karen Pugh.
shout-out to "Miss Lea" (a BIG part of "making it happen")

blk wool crepe 3-button suit w/covered button detail has a notched lapel

and pleated hollywood waist slacks

(@ the time, my fabric choice was primarliy used in womenswear)

white rayon spread collar shirt w/blk button detail

the multiple silver rings where directly inspired by how i wear my rings.

the fur felt fedora was my grandfather's.
