LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!

Eunice Johnson, creator(along w/her hubby J.H.Johnson) of "Ebony Magazine"...died at the age of 93yrs. on January 3.2010.  When I hear the name, Eunice Johnson, i think of "Ebony Fashion Fair"...THE Black Fashion Event of the season & Ebony Fashion Fair Cosmetics...THE line of cosmetics, for women of color.

BackStory: Ebony Fashion Fair Fashion Shows...i remember getting my "designer" outfit together, a Shaka King original (you couldn't tell me nuthin)LOL... and getting my ticket to the show (equally as thrilling as the show itself)...it was may chance to see several Paris fashion shows in one night...black models straight out Vouge (that's how i saw them) and...Lights, Camera, Action!!! 

BackStory: Ebony Fashion Fair Cosmetics...i was a Make-up Artist for the company...selling in Macy's, their #1 account...working only 3 days a week...making full pay + perks and working freelance w/an agent for editorial shoots, on the side.
One day i got a call saying "Mrs.Johnson was in town (in her regular suite, i believe @ The Plaza) and that i was to show up @ such and such a time to "do" Mrs.Johnson make-up."  She opened the door and was, very nice and pleasent...she thank me for "coming to do this for her".  LOL...sssshe held a mirror up in front of her the entire time i did her make-up (a bit nerve racking...yesssss, i new i better not mess up)...when i finished she said i did a "good job"...and i was off.
