Today I tried my hand @ tie dying, cotton gauze, for scarfs. There are two designers that really inspire me, w/their "singular unique vision", for placement of colors and technique. Montgomery(myspace.com/iammontgomery) & RAIF. Everytime i see their work i am amazed. I always wonder "how did they do that"...trying to figure it out in my head. I recently gave one of scarfs, as a Christmas gift, to "my best friend since childhood" and she loved it. Note: It was my older sister who reminded me, i was tie dying and bleach dying when i was in high school....and here i was thinking, i've never done this before. How do they say "same soup just re-heated". "SHOUT OUT to Ron Johnson...one night...many fashion shows ago, Ron work his "magic" of dying and I helped him, dye some accessories + garments for my "ZEN Breeze Collection". Yo that salt trick stayed in my head son...thanks!!!!!!
